Igbo Association of Japan (Igboezue) is a Non Profit Organization (NPO)  established by some Igbo indigenes of Nigeria residing in Japan who came together in 2013 to form an umbrella organization of Igbo community in Japan, for the purpose of promoting unity and values, and for promoting progress, information sharing, advocacy, and cultural understanding between members  and the rest of the society

New Yam Festival is an annual cultural event  been done by Igbo nation to thank God for a successful farming period, and also to appreciate the seed YAM which is the king of all crops in Igbo land.
