WHO WE ARE
The Igbo Association of Japan (Igboezue) is a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) founded in 2013 by Igbo indigenes residing in Japan.
Recognizing the need for a united platform, these visionary founders came together to establish a strong umbrella organization for the Igbo community in Japan. Our core purpose is to promote unity, preserve cherished Igbo values and cultural heritage, foster progress through information sharing and advocacy, and build meaningful bridges of understanding between our members and Japanese society.
Coverage
The operations and activities of the Igbo Association of Japan extend beyond Japan’s borders. We serve the interests and welfare of Igbo people living in Japan while also supporting sustainable development and collaborative initiatives in our homeland — particularly in the southeastern and south-south states of Abia, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers.
