About the event
New Yam Festival is an annual cultural event been done by Igbo nation to thank God for a successful farming period, and also to appreciate the seed YAM which is the king of all crops in Igbo land.
The event provides us the opportunity to showcase the unique Igbo culture and tradition to our host community in Japan. It`s a public event and everyone is welcome to attend
